Congratulations, again, to Miss Emily Anne Belin for winning the "Get of Sire" class at the 2011 Upperville Horse Show. Sue and Chuck Grossmann presented Dallas and April Reineke presented Working Class (aka Eleanore) to represent sire, Willemoes. Willemoes offspring won for the second year in a row.

Hil Cat Farm has its first winner on the West Coast. Jillemoes, owned by Amalia Davies, was entered in her first Hunter Breeding Class since her move to California. Jillemoes competed in the Two Year Old Filly Class. Jillemoes was handled by John French. Mr. French took Jillemoes to the win in her class and on to win the Best Young Horse Class.

Miss Emily Anne Belin of Magic Hill Farm presented Will Bless (Bonney) at the June 2011 Upperville show, winning second out of eleven entries in the non-TB yearling filly class.

Felix (aka "Jazzman" by former Hil Cat stallion, Cobra One) Places in Young Sporthorse Championships in West Palm Beach, FL. Felix placed with in Series I and II with scores high enough to qualify for finals. We wish him and his owner, Hattie Schiele, the best of luck in their next outing. Willemoes daughter, Lillemoes, 2008 Premium Danish filly, will be bred to Just the Best (1991 Dutch stallion) for a 2012 foal. Lillemoes is a beautiful jumper and the cross should produce astonishing results.

We are thrilled to announce the addition of ANASTAZIA (Zarr x Karacter Kount) to the HilCat broodmare band. Special Thanks to Ray & Cheryle Francis for the opportunity to acquire this lovely mare whose first 2 foals were Devon Winners. Anastazia herself was 2003 Best Yearling and 2004 & 2005 Best Young Horse at Devon. She will be bred to Willemoes in 2011, please contact us for 2012 in-utero foal pricing.

Willemoes son, Dallas, won the 3 year old colt/gelding non TB class at Warrenton and was also the Reserve Best Young Horse out of a field of about 70. He was shown by MR. JAY GOLDING for owners, Sue and Chuck Grossmann of Keswick, VA.
